McClave Builders LLC is a custom home building and remodeling firm based in the Pottstown area, serving homeowners throughout Chester and Montgomery Counties. Led by founder CJ McClave, the company takes a hands-on approach to every residential project, combining craftsmanship, precision, and personal attention.
I’m CJ McClave, owner and founder of McClave Builders LLC. My journey in construction started early, working alongside my dad – a skilled carpenter who taught me the value of precision, hard work, and pride in every detail.
After spending time with a framing crew in Colorado, I realized building homes was more than a trade – it was a calling. That path led me to AmeriCorps, where I spent a year in Hawaii managing Habitat for Humanity projects. Those experiences strengthened my leadership, patience, and commitment to building with purpose.
Today, I bring that same hands-on approach to every project. I believe the builder-client relationship is a true partnership built on trust, communication, and craftsmanship. My clients appreciate honesty, efficiency, and a process that keeps them informed from concept to completion. Our focus isn’t on being the lowest bid – it’s on delivering lasting value through skilled tradespeople, quality materials, and complete transparency throughout every phase of the project.
At McClave Builders, I stand behind every project we take on. Each home we build or remodel is a reflection of collaboration, craftsmanship, and care – values that continue to define our work throughout Pottstown, Phoenixville, Chester Springs, Collegeville, Exton, Downingtown, and surrounding communities.
Let’s talk about your vision, your priorities, and how we can bring your project to life – with craftsmanship, transparency, and care at every step.
